I am a friendly and enthusiastic person with a drive to achieve the highest quality in my professional work and I believe in achieving the best customer satisfaction. Having recently worked with local councils and business groups to promote retail in the city of Carlisle. I confidently and effectively completed a very demanding brief which required excellent time management and commitment to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

 

Work Experience

 

 

Freelance Photographer and Designer

• Creating promotional maps and flyers

• Photographing internal and exteriors of pubs and shops.

• Communicating with shop and public house owners to make sure the best images were achieved to enhance their business. This is currently a printed publication and permanent exhibition within a historic setting.

Contract: January 2014 – June 2014

  

 

Marketing assistant at Bedford College

Role included:

• Assisting and recording student interviews

• Assisting in the design of the college prospectus

• Deciding on the final images with the photographer

• Preparing materials for meetings within the marketing department.

         Two week contract.

 

 

Week long work experience with Black and White Photography magazine at GMC Publications

• Learning how the design and content of publications are decided and made

• Writing multiple book reviews that fit target audiences

• Creating work as an outside contributor would, e.g. creating a body of work to publish and writing about the work.  

 

 

Trained Student Ambassador at the University of Cumbria

• Giving tours of the facilities

• Overseeing school visits 

• Greeting parents and future students on open days.
