Aside from my photographic journey blog I have co-created a blog dedicated to the world of photography and art in general. Stopbathreviews is a collaborative site that aims to present the work of others and comment on the art world. Weather it’s a new exhibition or just something strange one of the team has discovered. All three of us have an extensive knowledge in photography being soon to be graduates with BA (hons) Photography degrees and have all been studying for at least four years.

Being part of this collaboration is an exciting endeavour to see where this blog can go. The plan so far is to create a network, taking inspiration from Red Eye and NEPN photography networks as well as sites such as American Suburb X and Hotshoe (which is also a publication).

Stopbathreviews started out as a slightly impulsive idea that I and two other students had. After countless discussions and arguments of our aspirations for Stopbath we now have a clear indication of what it should be.

Supporting artists is our main priority, presenting unrecognised talent to the world as well as teaching others of artists who are well established in their fields and are having large exhibitions.

The latest post is one written by myself, looking at Martin Parr’s latest exhibition at the Hepworth Wakefield Gallery. The overview is this is certainly an exhibition to see. The Hepworth Wakefield is an impressive gallery and the dedicated space to Parr’s work is quite substantial.
